Intermediate Modern Dance Classes
Thursdays June 10-July 1 (4 class series)
5-6:30pm
$15/class, $13/students
$55/series, $50/series for students
Experienced dancers in jazz, ballet, or modern will excel in this class. Refine your technique, challenge your body with exercises in strengthening and rhythm, move big across the floor, and learn new choreography.
Pre-registration is now open and encouraged.

Hi, do you accommodate 4 year olds? Just wondering if it would be advisable to enroll a four year old in modern jazz or ballet? Please advise, thanks

Thank you for your question. No, I do not teach children. My classes are for teens and adults age 13 and up. My best recommendation for a 4-year old is to look for a creative movement or modern dance class. I think at this age it is important to allow the children’s creativity to be accessed, which will happen in a creative movement class. If the child does well, and enjoys moving, and is a child that in a couple years (age 6 or 7) enjoys more structure, then I might explore more formal study in ballet or jazz. Hope this helps!
